Beautiful people, beautiful clothes, and a beautiful production.
Fashion Industry Gallery was abuzz with excitement as the fashionable crowd culminated in The Gallery awaiting the runway show. Guests perused The Gallery and the various designers that had their work on display, including Mitchel Primrose, Mona Jain Jewelry, Laura Pierson, Kristin Miller, M. Andrews Sartorial Luxury Collection, SOTO & CO., Brackish Bowties, Dapper Den, Consuela, Leaders in Leather, Alison Mitchell, Mad Jewels, Andrea Montgomery Designs, Cindy Schuelze Jewelry, and Blaine Bowen Jewelry. Each section of The Gallery was divided by similarities in designer, from striking jewelry to menswear and the designer pop-up shop, so navigating style was simple. VIP guests sipped craft cocktails in the downstairs lounge and chatted surrounded by goodie bags and photographers. The anticipation rose as it neared 8:20…Dallas was about to experience a fashion runway brought by the same producers of Austin Fashion Week, known for their high-productions and attention to detail. Starting with Binzario Couture, the runway was illuminated by intricate gowns that wowed the crowd from start to finish.
Romas by Linda Rose Thomas presented her collection armed with a deadly and beautiful palette, dresses that would make any woman that dons them into a Femme Fatale.
League of Rebels Menswear brought the modern balance of urban and high-end, mixing rich fabrics and well-crafted suits with edgy beanies and boots.
Adrienne Yunger took the guests to another time and place through her eclectic mix of salsa and tango with a carefree gypsy, a passionate collection and a beautiful story was reflected in her presentation.
Ross Bennett started the show back up after intermission with trousers and shorts in bright watercolor-printed fabrics. Reminiscent of the impressionists and Monet, he definitely made an impression.
CURLEEBIKINI transformed the runway into a bright, hippie beach party of Woodstock fan’s dreams. The carefree and innovative designs were interchangeable and easily worn. These swimwear pieces are what The Beatles would want in their yellow submarine.
Mysterious by NPN added an extra dose of drama and fierceness with lush fabrics and silhouettes that could pass for couture. As the show progressed, the circular and unexpected headwear became more and more spectacular, culminating in a dazzle of embroidered crystals.
Closing the show was Edo Popken, the well-known Swiss designer of international menswear. Saturated fabrics, statement pocket squares, and clean lines were a perfect end to a fantastic runway presentation. The diversity of the designers contributed to the high energy and flow in the space, and guests left hungry for more..and with 2 more days of runway, they’ll get it!
