Last week I went to visit my good friend and one of my favorite local artists in Dallas, . From the first time I met him last summer, I knew this guy had some real artistic talent and his motivation was going to take him far. Fast forward to the present and Riley is a big deal now. As the current Artist in Residence at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, Riley gets to live on the 24th floor suite while occupying the underground studio space in which he has 3 months to create art for his solo show. The dude’s been busy busting his ass day and night and also finding time to do interviews. He was recently featured in the Dallas Observer and . It was cool spending the entire evening with him talking about his most recent work, his experience living at the Fairmont, and how all of this came to be. Look out this summer for his solo exhibition, SHOOK!!!
Taylor Effin Cleveland was getting some footage that night for a documentary about Riley.
Young stunna.
